Ok, what sort of activities does website management include?

First, we work out what your goals are and come up with a plan to achieve them.

Then we roll out the plan with regular monthly activities that are relevant to your particular needs.  These will likely evolve, especially after we see what your website statistics are telling us.

Activities could include:

  • Monitoring of website visitor activity to identify trends and problem areas
  • Content updates including news, new services, discounts and specials, case studies etc.
  • Design tweaks and additions*
  • Campaign management (i.e. AdWords)
  • Search engine optimisation including link building
  • Search engine ranking monitoring and reporting
  • Edit and upload of images, video etc.
  • Forum and blog comment monitoring
  • Social media monitoring
  • Email newsletters
  • Competitor monitoring
  • Coaching of staff

How quickly we can achieve your goals depends on your budget - obviously the bigger your budget the more expert's time you get working on your site.  This particularly applies to Search Engine Optimisation activities to increase your rankings.

You will still need to create content - after all, you are the expert in your business!  If you need the services of a writer or PR specialist for press releases, we can put you in touch with experts in these fields.

*If your site is not an Essentee designed and developed site, these would need to be referred to your website developer for action.

Client words...

Thanks so much for your audit. It's really valuable in that you have targeted the very things that I have neglected- i.e. case studies and proof of professionalism. Also that I should be focusing on keeping existing clients revisiting the site - an area for further work.
